When I started this piece, I envisioned a detailed waterfall scene, but what happened instead was this crazy illusion of detail. It literally looks like a waterfall, but with minimal brushstrokes. This creates an energetic, spontaneous feeling.
The photo reference I used was a photo from my visit to Costa Rica.
